Known to many as “the man who sings the Divine Mercy Chaplet on EWTN,” Vinny has been involved in a ministry of mercy for over thirty years, using his gifts of teaching, writing, counseling, music, and prayer ministry to help people open their hearts to the healing touch of God’s love. Executive Editor at the Marian Helpers Center on Eden Hill in Stockbridge, MA from 1989-1997; and General Manager of Divine Mercy International from 1997-1999, Vinny has a special gift of making theological concepts and the teachings of the Church come alive with new meaning and relevancy. His powerful teachings on Divine Mercy, Mary, the Sacraments, and the Father’s love have made him a popular speaker at conferences and retreats. Vinny is a member of the Knights of Columbus and has been active in the Catholic Charismatic renewal since 1971. His first book, 7 Secrets of the Eucharist, was published in 2007 with Ignatius Press, and became a best-seller. He is now working on a book on Confession as well as one on Divine Mercy, both to be published with Ignatius Press.
A nurse by profession, Donna has always been a full-time mom, finding time to meet everyone’s needs, pack and ship orders, sing backup on the albums, and take charge of the sales and information tables at conferences and parish missions. She is now also a Grandmother to 21 (!) and is very involved in these extended families. She’s a jack of all trades, good at fixing, building, driving long distances, drawing pictures, and changing diapers! Now that her last child has left the nest (although, are they ever really gone for good ha ha) Donna is looking forward to doing some volunteer work and continuing to learn Spanish. She and Vinny went to an immersion school in Costa Rica in 2007 and they would love to do more traveling. Now that his book has been translated into Spanish, Vinny hopes to begin incorporating more Hispanic ministry into MercySong’s programs.
