In honor of the Pope’s upcoming visit to the U.S. and in anticipation of the Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy, we wanted to give you a sneak peek of Vinny’s new book, 7 Secrets of Divine Mercy! Please keep up your prayers for Vinny as he finishes writing!

“In his letter about the Jubilee Year, the Holy Father seems to be urging the Church — and each of us individually — to start over, to come to a renewed understanding and experience of the way we are loved by the Father, and then to commit ourselves to learning how to live out that same way of love in the world:
‘Go forth! We are living in the age of mercy. This is the age of mercy.’
Pope Francis [Angelus, 1/11/15]
‘The time has come for the Church to take up the joyful call to mercy once more. It is time to return to the basics and to bear the weaknesses and struggles of our brothers and sisters. … This is the opportune moment to change our lives. This is the time to allow our hearts to be touched … [to] find the strength to embrace God’s mercy and dedicate ourselves to being merciful with others as the Father has been with us.’
‘[The Face of Mercy #10, 19, 13, 14]
In one of his homilies, Pope Francis used a phrase that has really stuck with me and that, for me, sums up what all of this is about. ‘We are called,’ he said, ‘to live lives shaped by mercy.’
That’s the purpose of this book: to invite you to take a deeper look at the message of Divine Mercy found in Scripture, the teachings of the Church, and the Diary of St Faustina, so that you may respond more fully to the Lord’s call to let your entire life be ‘shaped by mercy.’ ”
