Vinny Flynn

Known to many as “the man who sings the Divine Mercy Chaplet on EWTN,” this author, musician, and father of seven has been involved in a ministry of mercy for over forty years, using his gifts to help people understand the teachings of the Church and open their hearts to the healing and transforming touch of God’s love. In fact, if there was one word to sum up Vinny’s message and mission, it would be this: Healing.

After many years of speaking, singing, and co-authoring or editing many publications (including helping to edit the official English edition of The Diary of St. Faustina), Vinny became a best-selling author with the release of his first book, 7 Secrets of the Eucharist, acclaimed by Cardinal George Pell as “a must read for Catholics.” Published in 2006, the book has remained on the Top 10 Best Sellers list for Ignatius Press, and has been published in Spanish, Polish, Indonesian, and Croatian, with an Italian edition in progress.

Vinny’s next book 21 Ways to Worship: A Guide to Eucharistic Adoration, was released in 2012, and lauded as a brilliant and much-needed “how-to” book on adoration. Shortly after, in the fall of 2013, he continued his “7 Secrets” series with another best-seller, 7 Secrets of Confession.  At the same time, he compiled the first ever collection of parallel Scripture verses and passages from The Diary of St. Faustina. This ground-breaking book, titled Mercy’s Gaze, was released in Fall 2013 by Marian Press. The “7 Secrets” Series have accompanying Study Guides and audiobooks available, and most of his books are also available in various foreign translations and as ebooks.

Vinny recently finished the third book in his “7 Secrets” series, 7 Secrets of Divine Mercy. A game-changer for the spiritual life, this much-anticipated book is a concentrated synthesis of Vinny’s vast knowledge of the Divine Mercy Message. Currently Director of MercySong, Ministries of Healing, Vinny lives with his wife, Donna, in Massachusetts and travels frequently to speak at conferences and retreats.
